Did anyone actually get tickets to either of these tapings? I registered for both back in April and tried again in June, to no avail. Fallon's site didn't even offer the Waits bench tickets as an option. Letterman requires answering quiz questions about his show and I honestly don't know anyone who watches it regularly.

Just curious if anyone managed to get tickets and if it's worth trying to pursue further.

Thanks!

I think someone did get tickets on the forum but I forget who. If you're willing to try again I'll help with the letterman questions. I feel like I'd do good on em.

I got a call back for Letterman but, with all the postponements and the fact that you don't always get the first of the three dates you choose, the call I got was unexpected and by the time I called back to answer the trivia question all I got was a voicemail box and it wasn't even for a Waits date, so I wasn't entirely disappointed. It was just gonna be me going to a Letterman show.

FYI for future reference. Don't pick three dates. It appears that you must pick three dates but that's not the case. Only put in the one date you want. Leave the other two spots blank. I did that and got called from the Letterman show for both of the previous Waits dates that were postponed. Of course I declined the tickets waiting for the eventual date that would be for real...but this time I can't attend.

Oh, I did not know you could do that. Thanks a bunch.

I went on a tour of NBC studios back in 2009 and they said that Fallon tix were easy to get because he was new and not too many people wanted to go, is this still true?
