On the bottom of the Filezilla screen did you drag the songs from the left side (local) over to the right (remote)? It should be automatic from that point.

All because you failed to criticize?? Hardly seems fair, does it?

What he said. All you have to do is drag the folder over and it should upload the whole folder.

I've been uploading lots of stuff to the ftp. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail. To me it seems entirely random. I understand it isn't of course, but for some reason I've never been able to understand the logic of what's happening.

Weird. Sounds like you've got a flaky connection in there somewhere, but I have no idea if it's at your end, or the FTP, or somewhere in between... I've never had any trouble with it like that.

And Terry was just making a joke. Critical failure = failure to criticize ;)

OK, the connection is working now.

I can't find the Madison folder anywhere. Is there any kind of search function in Filezilla?

And what should I do to see the full folder names of the folders in TW-fan ftp? I just see: [Folder symbol] _ Tom...

I don't think you can search an FTP... you might just have to start the folder again. I don't see it anywhere that you would expect to find it.

You should be able to expand the window where the names appear. Above the folder names you should see a bar that has labels like Filename, Filesize, etc. If you click the lines between those labels you can drag them so they are wider and you can see more of the file and folder names.

Thank you. That was really helpful.

OK, I have established a connection. I can see the different folder names in the ftp. Now how do I find my Madison folder on my computer? I just don't know where to look.

This is what my Filezilla looks like:

Lokal Plats should be where your folders and files are, and the window beneath it (with mach_kernel, Tom Waits World of Adventure - hi there!) should show the contents of whatever folder you select. I don't actually know where you put that Madison folder, of course :) It looks like you have the window sorted upside down, if that helps... click "Filnamn" to sort it right side up and maybe you will see something more familiar?

You should be able to enlarge that section of the window a bit and see the full folder name. Also, which madison show are you looking for? I can help you find it :) My fault, I move stuff around quite often, trying to keep it orderly. Almost all of his live concerts are under _Tom Waits Music/Concerts and live songs then by year of performance.

EDIT: Okay read up a little and saw you already got help  If you need anything just let me know
