And,...
how is it going to happen ?

We all stay at your house Jan, and everybody brings some trappist (and glasses  )

Or do we find a suitable bar ?

Roy and I, and hopefully Gordon (perhaps also Janet?) will arrive some time that Friday, we'll look into it the next few days. Brussels airport.

I don't think it possible to visit a real Trappist brewery (they are in monasteries and closed to the public I think), but how about visiting another brewery (just an idea...):
http://www.duvel.be/pages/Main.aspx?culture=en&pageid=brouwerij/bezoeken/introductie

It's not far from Mechelen..

Beerwise, I'm not sure yet, but there will be a bill to divide, I don't earn that much alas...
Glasses: that's an issue...I think I'll be visiting some more garage sale thingies to get some more, but I guess at least the belgian guests could bring some glasses as well...

If not too many people arrive on Friday, I would very much like to combine it with a visit to the Couleur Cafe festival...fun for sure...

As we are working on that for several years now, I'd very much like to come on Friday!
