They say if you have not got anything nice to say, do not say anything at all.
So I hesitated, but views can be shared, and shared views can change opinion.
Polly's new music is on the horizon, and her new video for the first release has hit the Internet, and for the first time in my Polly experience, I am not really getting it, the words lay in obvious straightforward sentences and sit awkwardly upon on the music, of which labours along with bored backing vocals, maybe time and other tracks will soften my view.

I am being harsh on initial listening, disappointment tainted me.

I haven't heard anything from the new album yet, but I've been looking forward to it ever since I heard the news about its release. I loved Let England Shake.

Upon a first and not too thorough listening I like it. It has the same sound as Let England Shake in many ways, but doesn't sound quite as interesting. More listens will show whether this opinion will last. Or not.

4 track demo's is a fantastic album. Dry and Rid of me are excellent. But everything she did after is very disappointing. Her songwriting has become third rate.

I'm not enjoying it so much either, still, I've only really heard one song, I'm obviously still looking forward to it.
