So what do folks think of the new album? Some saying the best album she has done in years, but the previews sond like a similar thing she has done on the last few albums, electronica with clipped singing.

I think musically she draws on older albums; the first couple songs could fit right in on Homogenic and Vespertine. It was done very quickly...there's an interview she did on Pitchfork recently that gives a good overview. It's all about her breakup with her husband. As such, I think it's very raw, but with the quick pace I don't think it's up to her usual standards lyrically. I think also the production is very thin sonically (even though it's very layered)...limited in frequency range, hardly any bass. Like it was designed for listening on earbuds or laptop speakers. For me it's hard to listen to, both sonically and emotionally. There's some good moments, but it feels more like a sketch than a painting. Considering her emotional state, maybe that's all that was possible.

Did she do anything of any importance after Debut.

Post, Homogenic and Vespertine were also strong, then faded a little afterwards.

My favorite has always been Homogenic. It's the only one I *really* got into.
Doesn't sound dated to me, yet.

Haven't liked much of what she has done lately. If anything at all.

Post was a step back. It was almost pop music. I expect more from Bjork, but then I expected more from PJ Harvey as well.
