yeh so this is probably my favorite band that is around today
i just wanted to know what the opinions are on them here
i must admit that i am a bigger fan of at dawn and it still moves
z caught me totally off guard and at first i wasnt too crazy about it
i am mostly for the alt country feel they have to their music
nonetheless i played z in my car for about a month straight and grew to love it
anyway i got to see them last summer in birmingham and it was fucking amazing
they are by far the greatest act i have seen live

What can one say, it's a fine band...

Anyone else care for this band? They are rather hit and miss for me. I love some songs, "Librarian", "I'm Amazed", etc... then just scratch my head at others. Jim James has a fine voice though.

Jesus I haven't listened to them in years, I definitely need to dust off a few of their records(still think they have a terrible name)

My awareness of this band is well represented by me thinking this thread was regarding someone buying a jacket.

Never have heard anything I like by them. To me Jim James is the face of bland indie rock. Don't care for it or him.
