Someone on the forum sent me a copy of "Wristcutters" many moons ago......think it stopped working before Tom even showed up, didn't have the heart to say it at the time

And yes "Game Of Thrones" has raised the bar for TV, this series could have been better I thought but it still towers above all else, last two episodes made up for the somewhat slow pace beforehand imo

I do think they should put it to bed after one more series though, feels like the end should be very close

Although S6 has been a little weaker than the previous ones - I think this is because GRRM didn't finish the book it's supposed to be based on, yet, he's running late so the producers had to make up their own storyline - the last two episodes are among the best I've ever seen on telly.
Especially the last one. Blew my mind.

I read your post a few days ago but forgot you wrote that part when I replied just now(does that make sense? Been a hell of a day) couldn't agree more though, I'd rather he wrote the rest if it meant waiting 2 years instead of having it out next year to meet deadlines tbh

Mad Max : Fury Road got raving reviews from critics and audiences. I don't get it. Relentless action, but no story or interesting characters. Got really bored towards the end...

I've not seen that yet, heard from a friend it wasn't as good as advertised.

Complete garbage on first viewing, but I can see it becoming a cult classic, there is a certain art to it, despite its failings in plot, just framing some set pieces and a few memorable lines. But that is what a lot of cult movies are, waiting for the line and the explosion.

Hello, Mr Nick. And Warren and all the rest.
Haven't bought my ticket yet, but I'm definitely going to see this. 8)

Special we all be watching on the same day.
I find it heartbreaking. Good he has his art to express himself.
Can't even start to imagine, losing a child.

Yes, I thought of that, too. :)

It's something no one should have to experience.

Watching Mad max 2, don't judge, it's free. Ish.

The baddie has just made an inaudible speech across the desert.
Terry Jones shouting "speak up!" In his Brian's mum screech would have fitted perfectly.

Very, very good film, made by Charlie Kaufmann, who also made Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovitch. Comes recommended.

Looks great, and already touched me. But I am in that mood now, explosive love.

It was a film with many levels and everything that happened, trivial things, seemed charged with meaning. I also think it was very open to interpretation. We spent quite some time talking about it afterwards, the kids and I. I like it when we get to do that, when a piece of art sparks discussion.
