Funny that. We started out the same way.
I was getting convinced around the minute mark.

Nice animation, indeed.

Then you'll like this, perhaps. From my favorite tv show of all time - Life On Mars

Gijsbert Kamer, the music critic of my newspaper (I met him at a Marc Ribot gig) gave the album 5 out of 5 stars.
"RH surpises with every song."

Great speech by T-Bone and lovely introduction by Rosanne Cash ...
I feel guilty for having used Napster and KaZaA ... but what was that first stone throwing saying again?
Jolie Holland was there too. We are "friends" on FB, told her that last line was for her.

This is shaping up to be a good music news day for me.

Joe Henry: New album, new tour including NYC date in October
Sean Rowe: New album via kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/18 ... oing-rogue)
Amanda Palmer: Announced NYC dates in July

All that, and it's not even lunchtime yet.

Yes! His albums have been on an upward trajectory so I'm excited to hear the next one.

Really happy about the Joe Henry one, too. Kind of a crazy concept album. "In March 2016 Billy Bragg and Joe Henry, guitars in hand, boarded a Los Angeles-bound train at Chicago’s Union Station looking to reconnect with the culture of American railroad travel and the music it inspired. Winding along 2,728 miles of track over four days, the pair recorded classic railroad songs in waiting rooms and at trackside while the train paused to pick up passengers."

Looking forward to this. Swedish pianist Mathas Landaeus uses his grand piano to make all sorts of impossible noise...

I have a neighbour who claims he has nothing with music, nada, not one bit. He looks happy and is a nice guy ...

Oh well ... thanks for all the posts friends!
Very looking forward to the Bragg/Henry album.
On advice from Mark I scored a ticket for Sturgill Simpson in Nijmegen, Netherland July 9th.
Love his voice and songs.

Remember Matt Mahurin and his vid for Tom, Hell Broke Luce?

The drummer in Motorpsycho quit.
He is a monster and an incredible drummer, so that's sad news.
They're currently figuring out how to proceed.

Slowly, but surely, turning into Spinal Tap. They'll be on their fourth drummer soon.

Still, I am sure they'll come up with something.

Funny, just saw them twice a couple of weeks ago. All looked well.
