Welcome to East Street Mel! The work week is just starting for me of course but at least this time around the weekend is a day closer. Good morning.

Good Morning!
Chilly and Gloomy Tuesday masquerading as Monday, but the Sun may break through later, like it usually does

Good morning, and thank you, Miss Mine!

What's even more wonderful is that I'm leaving for New York City this morning. On Friday I'm meeting up with Sarah, and we're going to see John Zorn.

Wishing wonderfulness to all of you!

What a wonderful thing to do!
Have fun, say hi (to both) and enjoy NYC!

Good morning.

... And other luminaries, including the much-missed Kenny Wollesen, who is finally back in town. :)

Good morning. Today will be a busy one: Work, 5pm happy hour with co-workers, 7pm concert (Ikue Mori, Craig Taborn, Jim Black), 8:30 meeting up with Mom plus my aunt and cousin visiting from Florida.

Kind of wish I could just skip the work part, really... But I'm almost halfway through a three day week so maybe I shouldn't complain.

Good morning. Last day of work this week, it's an honorary Friday for me :D

Managed to pull off my busy schedule last night without a hitch, with the help of the NYC mass transit system. Every now and then you hit it just right and every train is pulling into the station just as you walk down the stairs, etc. Made it from a front row seat at a concert in Brooklyn to a seat at a dinner table in midtown Manhattan in 30 minutes flat. Miraculous :halo:

Seeing Marc Ribot and Trixie Whitley tonight for the last concert of my 30s. :)

In general, the universe knows what you are about and shifts the chairs accordingly. I hope the universe does not charge too much.

Good morning all,

I am surrounded by boxes.

Good morning.

I'm taking the eight hour train to Oslo today, together with my son, tomorrow we're going to a party for my nephew (only 3-4 hours of travelling that day), and on Monday we're taking the train back home. I'll get to meet a lot of family members I wish I saw more often.

Wow, first job? What will she be doing? It's moments like that as a dad I never know if I'll swell with pride or break down with tears. Usually both. Enjoy your train ride & visit Ms field. Summer seems to have arrived here with June. I'll try to stay cool 8)
