Yes,
prioritie 1 : hit the road.
A movie I'm not really waiting for. But a theatreplay, with Tom composing I would find verry interesting. Tom working around 1 specific theme or story could lead into verry intersting stuff I think.

ah, who knows....1 day.

But first a tour please. Thank you.

I think it could still happen, the project seems to have been in the pipeline for quite some time. Wilson first mentioned that they were working on ‘The Shadow’ in a 2006 interview.

I hope so! Another theatre album would be sooo good. He had fun with BAM and now he can get to work.

Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell also starred in Martin McDonagh's A Behanding in Spokane. Tom was at the premiere last year.

His reputation as a writer is such that he had no difficulty casting the likes of Walken (the lead in his last play, A Behanding in Spokane) and Waits. When Mickey Rourke stormed off the movie last November because of, ahem, creative differences, Harrelson replaced him in a heartbeat. “Woody I’d known for some years. We met in Dublin, for some reason,” says McDonagh. “Chris Walken, I think all of us looked up to him as kids, just adored him. We worked together for my play a year and a half ago. And Tom Waits I’ve loved since I was kid. When he showed up on the set, we were all going, ‘Oh my God, it’s Tom Waits.’ “Tom has a brilliant new album out, and I have to say it was joyous driving down the streets of LA and seeing Tom’s face advertising his new album and then showing up on set and he’s acting in my movie. It’s kinda crazy. You have to pinch yourself at times like that,” he says.
