Wow, how time flies when it's out of mind! Thanks for the info, jake; I'll give it a listen today in honor of its 20th anniversary.

One of those Swedish band that I was introduced to by my American friend who loves all sorts of obscure music. The little that I've heard sounds good. As far as I know they were part of the "progressive" movement in Swedish music in the late 60s and early 70s. This movement quite quickly split up into one faction that was more interested in crossing musical boundaries, while the other faction saw the political message as more important. In Sweden the political part of the prog movement became quite famous, and was in some ways incorporated into the punk movement, while the musically progressive bands disappeared into obscurity. With a small revival in later years, as you said.

Interesting.

The reason they were revived for my dad (and me) is that he just bought a new record player and is listening to his old records again.

RTZ - Lost.

It's a great AOR album featuring Brad Delp.

In my quest to listen through my entire collection I've reached the prewar blues section. Blown away again. The the musical skill and variety in this small neglected area of the world at that time period is mind-blowing.

Can't wait to get to some blues to be honest. My 13 albums of Jefferson Airplane and related are possibly ten too many.

I saw him live in August. On a mountain top. With my mum and kids. He has a really good voice and is certainly a good musician, I really like some of his material. Other parts I find a bit uninteresting.

This is the spot where I saw him. It was agorgeous hike up there, but then it got very foggy (which is why I'm showing a picture from a different concert, so you can see what a nice spot it is).

Boston - Life, Love and Hope extended version.

This cd seems to have occupied my cd player for the last week. :captain:

What happened to Brad Delp, is by all means a very sad story. :(

Boston, one of those bands that's just a band name to me.

I'm through Jefferson Airplane, Jesus and Mary Chain and yesterday I played Jethro Tull. I have plenty of Janis Joplin coming up.
