I'm having a little lapse in interest. That's all. It'll pick up again, soon, I expect.

Ha! Let's meet and discuss this, at length, over a good meal and lots of tea (would that be tea with tea in the UK?)!

There's a discussion I'd like to take part in... without the tea though, especially if it's tea with tea, would coffee be ok?

You mean tea with coffee? Deal!

Now listening to the two single tracks that have been released from the upcoming Robert Plant album Carry Fire. Wonderful. I'm beginning to feel that I enjoy Plant's solo output from the last 15 years even more than the Led Zeppelin albums.

I might have to download the RP. I was given an iPod for our anniversary present, so am excited to be able to download music - brought into the modern age. Hehe

Listening to Bob Hund. I'm sure Mika knows this band, but most likely nobody else on here.

Yes, which means no one (except maybe you Minefield) will be impressed when I say I saw them in a tiny club when no one had heard of them.

Are you listening to old or new Bob?

I'm impressed.

I saw them in 1998 or something, which was when I discovered them (me and everyone else), when Jag rear ut min själ! came out. After that I got hold of Omslag: Martin Kann. Love both these albums. The concert was fabulous.

Now I was listening to one that came before that. I think it's just called Bob Hund, and I haven't listened much to it. I like it too, but not as much as the other two. Not sure if it's just because it's unfamiliar.

They were here again last year, so they probably have some new material out. Haven't heard it though.

Fun fact: Some of the students in the art school I was the manager of for a year (ending in June this year), got as part of their course to be backup singers for Bob Hund when they played here about a year ago now.

Both their first EP and first LP were simply called Bob Hund. I saw them just before they released the EP in 1993. Have seen them many times since. Have never been disappointed.

My favorite Bob Hund track of all time was only released as a single:

Jag tycker att det är bra att ni lyssnar på svensk musik.

Bob hund har en skånsk charm. :D

The show may be over but it leaves behind two excellent soundtrack albums that I'm sure even non-peaks fans can get behind.

Jerusalem - Primitive Man

I'm thinking Kurt Cobain probably listened to this a few times...
