I absolutely love this album, recently had a record store employee rail at me about it because it didn't sound anything like My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.

Never understood why people aren't content to let artists try different things.

Watched Stop Making Sense with Kaja yesterday. It's been some years, and it's still as great as last time.

This portait (that I posted and removed again earlier) was based on that concert film. This time posted with permission.

Superb artwork! Well done, Kaja! :notworthy:

Stop Making Sense is an outstanding film. I remember watching it at home while I was very sick, but the music was so irresistible that I still couldn't help getting up and dancing around the room.
I never saw it in the cinema, but a friend who did said that the audience was literally dancing in the aisles.

I'd love to see that in the cinema!

Very nice drawing!

I got Stop Making Sense free with a computer magazine...
It was the sole reason why I got the magazine so you could say I got a free computer magazine with my 5€ copy of Stop Making Sense... Threw away the magazine in the shop...

One of the best concert movies ever...

Millie Jackson - Caught Up

This epic three part tale of being "the other woman" might be one of the most soulful funkalicious tracks ever recorded:
